My work is very personal.  It represents moments of my life, my struggles and times of great difficulty.  It is emotional and vulnerable owrk that relates to my ownexperiences, but I also strive to transform my specific issues into a broader story that anyone can relate to.

 

This particualar series is about addiction, and the relationship between the addict and others.  I use glass, and glass containers, to emphasize the invisible boundary that exists.  The glass also helps to symbolize the very complicated intangible layers that become a part of such relationships whether they are a friend, family member, or significant other.
